Setting up trades over icq is a total pain in the ass, I hate it, but it’s a necessary evil. Here’s some tips….

How not to proceed.

Don’t even bother asking for authorization, just send a message saying “let’s trade big” - make sure you don’t mention what your site is called or it’s url.

Get auth, then send an icq saying “hi” or “please hit me up” or ” lets trade” or “trade traffic” - again make sure you don’t mention your sites name or url, or the site name or url of the prospective trades site. After all everyone else just has one site right? and they will automagically know wtf you are talking about.

Send an icq requesting a trade and then ask for a force back even though your site has little traffic.

Send an icq saying ” I signed up at your site and it doesn’t return any traffic” - make sure not to read the rule that says send 100 hits to start the trade. And again best not to mention your sites name or which site you signed up at. The other webmaster will automatically know this.

Google Page Rank Update

Looks like there’s a Google Page Rank update going on at the moment. Any site that trades traffic can benefit from a high google page rank. I noticed this PR update because I have the google toolbar installed Google Toolbar.

CJ SITES Adult Traffic Trading Blog is currently showing a PR5 Page Rank and is still less than a month old. I guess this is largely due not so much to the number of inbound links - because there aren’t that many, but due to how relevant those inbound links are. e.g. I’ve linked to this site from some of my MGP Traffic Trade pages. As well as set up some links with high quality adult traffic related blogs (see my blogroll in the sidepanel).

I don’t know if this PR5 rating for CJ SITES Adult Traffic Trading Blog is permanent or just a temporary thing, but it’s nice to get a PR5 site in under a month

Aquasubmitter

I just bought a months subscription of aquasubmitter.

It’s a linkdump submission program which you can use to submit your galleries, freesites, tgp sites, seo sites or whatever to surfer linkdumps and bbs sites. There’s about 450 sites in the database and it’s fast to submit with. Dunno how much traffic it will bring in but submitting manually to the bigger linkdumps used to bring in a k or so surfers. Which isn’t much but its easy traffic and a few more backlinks.

I just gave in to temptation and bought statsremote. I found I was spending half my time checking stats and decided it was time to give this stats program a try. So for about $1 a day it must be worth it and I can spend the time saved putting up fresh links and generating some traffic instead.

It seems ok, but atm doesn’t work with AEBN or a few other sponsors I use. I’ve keyed in my top 33 sponsors so far, but no ccbill ones yet and I have over 100 of them with links up in different places.

Looks a cool program though for a buck a day.

Is blogging any good for adult website promotion? I guess so judging by the numbers of blogs starting up lately, lol.

I’ve been running this blog here for a few weeks now to test how the search engines spider and index blogs, so far it looks pretty good. So I think I’ll try it on surfer traffic. So far “CJ SITES Adult Traffic Trading Blog” has quite a few pages listed in Google. Whether they’ll get dropped pretty quick or not I don’t know, probably they will due to the sandbox, but googlebot crawled 72 pages so far which is quite deep for a new site.

So I just registered a few surfer related blogging domains to get me some porn surfer adult blog traffic.

I’m no expert at this shit. Just learning about blogging and the traffic quality and quantity possible to be gained by this promotion method. So I’ll keep you posted how it goes.
