Sharing Traffic Trading Tips
It’s strange when you visit a lot of webmaster boards and read the threads about traffic trading, tgps etc. Seems to me people fall into a few distinct groups when it comes to their willingness and approach to sharing knowledge.
Firstly there’s the “tgps are useless, there’s no money to be made with tgps, give up now, dont even try to start one” group. Usually these are insecure tgp owners who don’t want any more competition types. They’re scared of losing their market share to yet more tgps.
Secondly, there’s the group who pretend it’s some kind of secretive black art, and that they have hidden knowledge, that they don’t want to share. They too don’t want more traffic trading sites competing with them.
The third group is the “parrot group” who repeat by wrote what they heard somebody else say, but never successfully grew a site themselves. They usually mean well, but talk crap.
Lastly there’s those good people who don’t mind sharing their knowledge. It’s knowledge they mostly gained from experience and experimenting with scripts, site layouts, different designs, traffic sources etc. They realise that the internet is built on sharing knowledge and don’t mind a bit of competition. It’s this last group that I hope I fall into. After all, some newbie that you help get started today, might be a 20k trade in a few months time.
